A few minutes drive from the centre of Launceston, Cataract Gorge gives a taste of the beauty of Tassie. It is a beautiful setting with a park, river, suspension bridge, short walks and a great restaurant. There is also the chair lift which crosses the river, and has great views on it slow journey.

The photos here are not very good, and I will improve them very soon. They show the river in flood, and most of the park area under water.
